A formulary of such warrants, writs, oaths, etc., as a justice of the peace might find helpful in fulfilling his duties; also, "A Breviate of Rates & Taxes out of Mr. Will[ia]m Crabtree of Broughton his Booke for the County of Lancast[e]r" (p. 63) (a similar work mentioned under Crabtree in the Oxford DNB dated 1650), and other rates "taken out of Blomeleys book in Mr. Chippings hands of Ormskirk." Notes include manicules (in annotated printed V.a.395 item 3 as well).
